Emperor Divers is expanding its presence in the Solomon Islands, with the opening of a new dive centre based in Munda.

The new operation, established in collaboration with Zipolo Habu Resort on Lola Island, is expected to welcome its first divers later this year and will serve Munda, Vonavona Lagoon, Rendova, and surrounding regions in Western Province.

Founded in 1992, Emperor Divers specialises in showing guests the beauty of the Solomon Islands. It already runs a world-renowned liveaboard,  Emperor Bilikiki  in Solomon Islands, and has a thriving day diving centre in Honiara.

Emperor Divers also runs the award-winning liveaboard dive boat Emperor Bilikiki

The new centre will combine Emperor Divers’ high-quality standards of service and operation with the extensive local knowledge of Bilikiki, which has been operating in the country since 1988, and further strengthens its commitment to diving and tourism in Solomon Islands.

The centre will be a full-service operation including compressors, cylinders, rental equipment and dive boats.

Guests will also be able to arrange collections from their accommodation throughout the wider area including Noro, Munda, Rendova, or anywhere in-between, making the centre accessible to visitors staying across the region.

Munda hosts the country’s second international airport and provides an international gateway to Western Province with direct flights from Brisbane operating every Friday.Further details about the new dive centre, diving packages and its official opening will be announced soon.

For more information about the new centre, contact Emperor Divers’ Munda team via email at munda@emperordivers.com.
