Producing an article can be fun and very rewarding

Most people have probably never thought about writing a story about their diving, yet most people who dive have been to some fantastic locations, and they always have a story to tell at the end of the dive day or dive trip.
You may have been free diving and had some shots at that huge kingie with the spear gun, or you might have just traveled to that dive destination abroad you have always dreamed about visiting, to see those crystal clear waters of Florida and the playful manatee, or heading to the Galapagos Islands in search of the majestic whale sharks and huge schools of Hammerhead sharks. Either way you will have something that others would love to read about.

Recently we have had Marine students telling us about their passions to become a scientist and how there went about achieving their goals. I myself started writing an article from time to time in Dive Pacific Magazine when I was just starting up my diving career 35 years ago, I and have written many articles since then.

At Dive Pacific, we have now opened the online platform to allow you as a reader to create your own story and let others enjoy your content.

You now have the opportunity to have your own articles in our magazine or online platforms.Anyone who signs onto Dive Pacific can create a story if they wish. Join up here. If you have any questions about writing articles, you can contact me via email at,  editor@divepacific.co.nz
