Wakatobi's House Reef is perfect for snorkellers
While Wakatobi is beloved by divers, it's also a dream destination for those who prefer to stay a little closer to the surface.
Snorkellers at Wakatobi receive the same level of support as scuba divers. Most of their dive sites are rated for suitability for snorkelling based on reef topography. Daily boat excursions offer access to breathtaking shallow reefs, and snorkellers who join the morning and afternoon boat excursions are accompanied by a professional snorkel guide.
Snorkelling equipment, as well as video and camera systems, are already on board when you step on to the boat, and boat crew constantly monitor snorkellers while they are in the water.
The House Reef is also monitored by Wakatobi's shore-based staff, who can shuttle snorkellers on taxi boats further up-current for a comfortable and exciting snorkel back to the jetty. Snorkellers can also engage a private snorkel guide to assist with skills, marine life encounters, and anything else you need to get the most out of your special snorkel experience.
