Diving Talks 2026
The exhibition returns to Lisbon, Portugal in October

Diving Talks returns to Lisbon, Portugal from 23–25 October 2026, bringing together some of the most respected, experienced and inspiring voices from across the international diving community for three days of knowledge, stories, encounters and conversation.
Held annually in Lisbon since 2021, this international dive event combines a conference and trade show, along with explorers, scientists, industry leaders, photographers and divers from around the world, sharing ideas, experiences and innovations that are shaping the future of diving.

More than a traditional dive show, Diving Talks was created around a simple idea: the diving community grows when people have the opportunity to meet, listen, question, exchange experiences and inspire one another.
Explorers, scientists, photographers, technical divers, freedivers, researchers, educators and industry leaders share the stage, presenting experiences and ideas from very different corners of the underwater world. From groundbreaking expeditions and underwater discoveries to diving safety, human performance, technology, conservation, photography and the future of diving, the programme reflects the extraordinary diversity of the international diving community.

But the conversations do not stop when a presentation ends. Throughout the weekend, speakers, visitors and brands meet in an informal environment deliberately designed to encourage interaction. Workshops and presentations complement the
main stage programme, while the exhibition area becomes a meeting place where divers can discover new ideas, discuss equipment and technology and, importantly, speak directly with the people behind some of the industry's leading companies.

Joining the conversation
For manufacturers and organisations, Diving Talks offers an alternative to the conventional exhibition model. The diving industry has always depended on strong relationships between the people who design, manufacture, teach, sell and ultimately use diving equipment and services. Diving Talks creates the conditions for those relationships to develop naturally.
Rather than simply exhibiting products, participating brands become part of the wider conversation. They can listen to experienced divers, understand how equipment is being used in the real world, exchange ideas with instructors and explorers, discuss emerging needs and technologies, and meet a highly engaged international audience. This proximity is increasingly valuable. Innovation does not happen in isolation: better diving products and services come from understanding the people who use them.
That is why leading diving brands and organisations choose to support Diving Talks. Their presence is not about old-fashion and shop-like product-exhibiting. It is about being close to the community, contributing knowledge and participating in the discussions that are helping shape the future of diving.
And for visitors, that creates a different kind of event — one where a conversation started after a presentation can continue over coffee, at a workshop, beside a manufacturer's stand or later around a table in Lisbon.
Diving Talks is where adventure meets knowledge — and where the underwater world comes together to meet, learn, exchange ideas and be inspired.
